Johannes Svensson Wallin

       

John was born in Lille Holmen, Boda, Trökörna, Skaraborg, Sweden. He came from at least two generation of soldiers. He left from Levene, Skaraborg, Västergötland, Sweden for New York via Göteborg on April 30, 1869 aboard the Plato (Inman Line) to Hull, England. John departed Liverpool, England on May 5, 1869 aboard the City of Brooklyn (Inman Line) and arrived in New York on May 17, 1869. The rest of his family followed him about two weeks later. John died on Oct 6, 1926 in Watertown, Minnesota at daughter Emma (Wallin) Johnson's farm. (1870) (1875) (1880) (1885) (1895) (1900) (1905) (1910) (1920)

Johanna Andersdotter/Andersson Wallin

Johanna was born in Smedtofta Östergården, Levene, Skaraborg, Sweden. She and her three children immigrated from Levene, Skaraborg, Västergötland, Sweden for St. Paul, Minnesota via Göteborg on May 14, 1869 aboard the Albion (Inman Line) to Hull, England. They departed Liverpool, England on May 19, 1869 aboard the City of Paris (Wilson Line) and arrived in New York on May 29, 1869. Johanna died on July 19, 1917 in Carver Co., Minnesota. Ida Matilda Wallin

Ida immigrated with her mother and siblings (see above). At the 1880 census, Ida was a servant for the John C. and Julia Huntington family in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She married Hans O. Olson Selli of Norway about 1886 in Watertown, Minnesota and they had six children together, all born in Watertown, Minnesota. Great-grandmother Florence Bernice Olson was one of their daughters and married Fred Hawkinson. Ida died on Mar 12, 1943 Hennepin, Minnesota. Olivia May Wallin

Olivia "Ollie" immigrated with her mother and siblings (see above). She married Karl Johan Svensson (Charles John Swanson) on May 18, 1886 at Emmanuel Swedish Church in Minneapolis, Minnesota. They had nine children who were all born in Minneapolis. Olivia died on May 21, 1941 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. (1895) (1900) (1905) (1910) (1920) (1930)

Charles was born on June 1, 1864 in Appelkullen Kvillehult, Vimmerby, Kalmar, Småland, Sweden and died on Feb 27, 1950 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He immigrated with his uncle Jonas Månsson and his family. They left Tuna. Kalmar, Sweden for Minneapolis via Göteborg on May 20, 1869 aboard the Victoria to Hull, England. The group left Liverpool, England and arrived in early June 1869 via Quebec.

Karl Johan Wallin

Charles John immigrated with his mother and siblings (see above). He married Ellen M. about 1891 and they had four children before dying in 1905. (1895) (1900) (1905) (1910 Page 2) (1920) (1930) Ellen had boarders after Charles died. Charles and Ellen lived next door to Hans and Ida Olson (see above) at the 1895census.

Emma Sotta C. Wallin

Emma was born in Helvetia, Hollywood Twp, Carver Co., Minnesota. Emma married Erick William "Bill" Johnson (Anders Erick Vilhelm Jonasson) on Oct 10, 1895 in Evangelic Lutheran Church in Watertown, Minnesota. They had six children. (1900) (1905) (1910 Page 2) (1920) (1930)

Bill was born on May 24, 1867 in Ryd, Sandsjö, Jönköping, Sweden and died on Feb 8, 1938 in Watertown, Minnesota. He immigrated on Apr 29, 1887 from Björkö parish to Minnesota. (1895)

Anna Sophie Wallin

Otto Adolph Edward Wallin

Otto was born in Helvetia, Hollywood Twp, Carver Co., Minnesota. Otto married Anna Louise Westlund of Watertown, Minnesota on June 28, 1902 in Watertown, Minnesota and they had eight children, all born in Watertown, Minnesota. (1870) (1875) (1880) (1885) (1895) (1900) (1905) (1910) (1920) (1930)

Anna was born to Swedish immigrant parents in Franklin Twsp. in Wright Co., Minnesota. (1875) (1880) (1885) (1895) (1900) After Anna's mother died, her father lived with her family in Watertown, Minnesota. (1910)

Alfred Sidney Wallin

Alfred was born in Helvetia, Hollywood Twp, Carver Co., Minnesota. He married Linda Erickson on July 10, 1902 in Carver Co., Minnesota. They had one child. The census record lists Alfred as single and living with the family of his sister Anna (see above) in 1910. Alfred disappeared in 1926 after his father died.
